This weekend saw the final rounds of the 2008 season. We saw heavy rain and freezing temperatures on Saturday for most of the day, however it didn’t stop us having fun when we had a small party to celebrate Lee Rogers 20 consecutive year of racing, followed by a firework display. On Sunday, Race one Neil got to a good start but unfortunately spun off at Merclarens, which left us in 18th place, in Race two we also got a great start but at Merclarens someone hit the pickup in the back so Neil was forced onto the grass again. Neil managed to catch up again and came 14th place. However we still got 250 points, which meant we sealed 15th place in the Overall Championship despite us missing six rounds.
