Tressler looking for strong EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series debut at Brands Hatch

Updated: Apr 27, 2018

Pickup Truck Racing Championship veteran Neil Tressler will make his debut in rounds 3 & 4 of the EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series this weekend (18/19/20 May), in the Pacific House Chevrolet Camaro at Brands Hatch as support to the prestigious DTM event.

Tressler, who’s racing activity in the Pickup Truck Racing Championship dates back to 2007, including a fourth place finish in the overall championship and second place finish in the Rockingham championship in 2011, will make the next step in his career as he aims to take Europe’s NASCAR scene by storm.

Having previously tested at Brands Hatch in the pre-season, Tressler will be confident that the foundations are in place to enable him to perform in front of a bumper crowd at the Kent circuit this weekend.

“I’m very much looking forward to making my debut in the series this year,” explained Tressler. “I have only tested the EURO NASCAR once so I think that this weekend will be very testing, but will also set the foundations for the future at the same time.”

“The quality of the grid is pretty impressive but I think that we are capable of performing well and I would like to aim for some top 10 finishes.”
