Rockingham Rounds 18 & 19 - 14/09/10

The last 2 oval rounds of the 2010 Line-X Pickup Truck Racing Championship took place this weekend at Rockingham in Corby. An exciting first race saw Neil come 12th by just 0.005 seconds to Stuart Annible #31. A dramatic race 2 then saw Lee Rogers #69 start from pole, however he lost control on turn 1 of the first lap with Antony Hawkins #98 getting tangled up and leaving Neil no where to go. Neil ended up hitting the wall whilst still going backwards however after a quick inspection at the damage in the pits Neil managed to get back out onto the track, eventually finishing 13th. Despite this we have managed to finish 8th in the 2010 Oval Championship, our best result in the Oval Championship to date, we have also managed to maintain our 9th position in the Overall Championship. Fortunately most of the damage was minor, and we will be able to get it fixed for the next and final rounds of this years championship, which will be taking place at Brands Hatch on the 30/31st October!
