Once again the 2014 Pickup Truck Racing Championship will roar into life this weekend in proper American NASCAR style with the first of four trips to the immense monster mile and half oval that is Rockingham Motor Speedway, Corby. Reaching excessive speeds of 150mph, bumper-to-bumper, door-to-door action it’s definitely not one to be missed!
With a bumper crowd expected, Racing ROCKS takes over big style seeing the return of live music with Rick Parfitt Jr and the RPJ Band headlining alongside ‘The Voice’ star Mike Ward. Unable to make the final Rockingham of 2013 it has almost been a year since Neil was last out on the oval “I’m really eager to get back on the oval, it’s been such a long time” says Tressler “Rockingham is such a buzz, there’s really nothing like it”
Practice commences at 17:30pm on Saturday, with qualifying Sunday morning at 10:00am; Race one will then take place at 13:25pm with race two 16:25pm respectively on Sunday 18th May.
