Tressler earns top ten on EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series debut

Pacific House’s Neil Tressler reacted well in changing weather conditions to qualify in tenth position for his debut showing in the EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series Open Class, at a wet Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

Tressler, a veteran in the Pickup Truck Racing Championship, with racing activity dating back to 2007, was faced with a challenging start to his EURO-RACECAR NASCAR career, with rain embarking on the Kent circuit just minutes before the session was due to start.

Adapting well to unfortunate circumstances in weather, Tressler immediately showed pace by posting a number of top three times with just five minutes to go in the session, consistently proving that he has what it takes to establish himself as a front-runner in the series.

With the competition soon building inside the top ten with minutes to go, Tressler, who has only previously tested his Chevrolet Camaro once, would slip down the order to tenth position, posting a fastest lap of 58.189 seconds.

“I’m really pleased with the way that the session went for us,” explained Tressler. “To qualify inside the top ten on my EURO-RACECAR NASCAR debut is a brilliant achievement.”

“I think we are in a brilliant position looking ahead to the race tomorrow, I certainly think that we should be challenging for a top six finish by the end of the race, and I am determined to put myself in that position.”

Racing for the EURO-RACECAR NASCAR Touring Series will commence tomorrow at 14:35, followed by the second race of the day at 17:10.
